THE CAFÉ

Whether it’s a casual meal with family or friends, a business lunch or a relaxed morning or afternoon tea, enjoy the outstanding vista with fresh, quality food and excellent service at reasonable prices. Cornucopia Museum Café is under new local management and has an updated menu that introduces new healthy dining options while not losing sight of the trusted favourites that locals keep coming back for… the renowned Salt and Pepper Calamari, the stand-out Caesar salad, and the much-loved hollandaise-topped egg selection at breakfast, to name but a few.

The café is fully licensed and is open from 9am weekdays and from 8am weekends.

HISTORY

For nearly 20 years it has grown alongside the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, which re-established itself at Bullocky Point on the shores of Fannie Bay in the decade following Cyclone Tracy … a storm that had a lasting impact on the city and its people, and which left the museum’s previous venue, the Old Town Hall in Smith Street, in ruins. In a city that is changing before our eyes, it is comforting to know that some things, especially those that we know and love, don’t change. And that is because the formula is right.
